  • they just don't make music like this anymore

  • So pure, so authentic, so natural. My favourite version of this song.

  • Man when I feel completely beaten down, depressed, and loathe the sun this music is the best ha. When the sky falls down and there are few places to go, this is one of them.

  • @burberry998 Thanks. I had not heard that. The shame was these fine songs were buried on some horrible soundtrack albums. For instance, "Tomorrow is a Long Time", was thrown onto the album "Spinout" , along with such gems as "Smorgasbord". RCA and the "Colonel" (just what armed service he was commissioned in I'll never know) cared nothing about quality. Elvis should have fired that moron after he turned down the lead in "West Side Story", because he did not want Elvis associated with gangs.

  • @ryan12101954 I believe Dylan said the same thing about Elvis's version of Don't Think Twice.

  • Those people who disliked, you have no soul. End of.

  • @deborahkauffman09 i cannot agree more

  • Actually, to those who have not heard it should check out the version Elvis Presley recorded in 1966. Dylan called it the recording he treasures most, and said it was the best cover of any of his songs ever done. That covers a hell of a lot of ground.

  • Nick Drake, Crosby Stills & Nash, Gordon Lightfoot, and Cat Stevens.

I wish that more people my age even knew these guys existed, let alone graced our ears with acoustic bliss.

  • @libertines123456 Hi Libertines, you are welcome. They sound like a band that came out of the early English roots folk revival scene. My favourite music. Some peeps don't think they are commercial enough but that's exactly why i like them :-)

  • @Blake788 I got here by accident - searching google for info on this Dylan song, then intrigued that Nick Drake had done a cover. Then I read your post and thought I'd do a search.... listened to snippets of a couple of their songs on myspace and bought the album. All in a matter of minute. Great recommendation! Thankyou.

  • I like this vocal better than the one on "Don't Think Twice...", his other Dylan cover here. Softer, more tender. He was such a folk guitarist as well, a fact sometimes lost on later overproduced recordings. But what gets me here is definitely his voice. Between that voice and that beautiful haunted face... sigh!
