I lived in that area. i live about 10 minutes from there and it was devastating.

Riverside smelled bad after all that. But then it was like a huge lake. Then the water receded. Not the walkway on riverside looks beautiful cause of all the water. The grass is so green, even after one year later

I live 2 house off Riverside it only got my backyard because my house is above the backyard on hill. My front yard was like some kind of tourist attraction!

That was just a rumor. No one from Convergy's is doing work from home. My husband signed up for it so he could continue working but, they never came through on the work from home promise. Hopefully they will be able to arrange something...

i understand Convergys' employees got sent home to do their workwith laptops thats great at least they gave them something back!!! as for the rest of the employees--I feel so sorry for them!!! its like a muddy ghost town down there now!!! I wonder how long it will take to get back again!

they're going to hang out at the parks up in downtown like always. all riverside drive being demolished did is put good people out of work, and destroy places where plenty of people's memories are.

damn...Convergys too. I really feel sorry for the businesses and the people who cant work now due to this flood. Its just mind-blowing! I was in Chicago the year the tornado tore through downtown. We are just targets for disaster here,..
