Jerry Wilson from "The Pieces of Peace " used to talk about this band back in 1972 over in Singapore where the Pieces had a residency , as though the Pharoahs were legends back in 1972. Jerry said they used to sell their own aromatic oils at gigs. Now I understand where EW&F developed.
As for the Pieces of Peace, they were a funky outfit. I got to hear em, jam with them and they were very generous with their time and taught this "grey dude " a lot about the mainstays of R&B and Soul
