An amazing touch, scored by Olympic Gold Medalist Benjamin Kleibrink of Germany on Olympic Silver Medalist Yuki Ota from Japan in the finals of the Olympics in Beijing in 2008. The German foilist was on fire and just about everything he tried worked wonders and this is the perfect example.
Foil is the only type of fencing i can appreciate

@gamercds but the director says that he started the riposte before yuki passed so the touch is valid

@EnduringDusk it says that if the fencer start to riposte after the opponet passed him, its a riposte touche but he cant start to riposte after his opponent is behind him

There was no parry, as you can hear the referee says "Counter Attack" but the "Riposte" rule applies to this perfectly.
After your opponent misses his first attack you have the Right Of Way to counter attack no matter where the opponent is.. As we clearly see, OTA missed his first attack way before they passed each other, so Kleibrink had all the priority to Counter Attack/Riposte. But there was no parry.

@yihd the rule is the same for all three weapons, i was just giving an example of a very extreme case that just happened to occur in epee
