Excerpted from NOVA: "Surviving AIDS," this segment showcases the work of Drs. David Ho and Stephen O'Brien. By examining the "outliers" -- in this case, people like Steve Crohn, whose cells repeatedly resisted HIV infection -- Ho and his colleagues found a genetic mutation that prevents the HIV virus from entering the cell. This clip includes animation of HIV entering a white blood cell through the CD-4 and CCR-5 receptors on the cell's surface. Some individuals have no CCR-5 gene, which means that HIV cannot enter their cells. Scientists are using this new information in the development of an AIDS vaccine.

A hybird Bio geneticaly enginered & mutated strain of the Black Plague, that has genetic mutation properties that cause a delete mutation on the CCR5 receptors. If it were used in a non mutated immune sysyem in a healthy person, would the person continue to make mutated immune cells if they were given an ammount of the geneticaly enginered & mutated strain of Black Plague produced in quantity by recombinant DNA , PCR or stem cells?

People who carry this HIV immune gene are alleged decedents of survivors of the Black Plague in Europe, do you think we could make the CCR5 gene mutation in healthy immune cells? Perhaps by method of Bio genetic engenering; developing a strain of the Black Plague that only attacks the the desired CCR5 receptors causing a delete mutation without the undesired symptoms of the Black Plague.Then infecting unmutated immune cells with the hybird;Could this produce an inhibitor or or vaccine?

Dont get happy people. Someone will find a way to not allow a cure in USA at all. Nothing is ever going to be cured. The USA wants people to die cause too many people are been born and not enough dying. If more people are born then dying we are going to have a huge problem with food in the future. World hunger is coming soon cause of this. So dont wait for any cures. Just more promises that is never going to happen.Diseases can be cure but they choose not to.

make ccr5 gene knock out transgenic white blood cells or adult proginator cells and you have a cure dr. ho. or at least a treatment that will keep an hiv victim from dying of a common cold. someone get the word out there. this is how you do it.
