2nd overall!
It's coming along! Still areas that need work, obviously, like my shoulder through the two-stride... but all in all? I'm pretty happy. Riley, as usual, was amazing. This is our second weekend doing 1.0m jumpers, so what more can you really ask for?
For those who don't know how Power & Speed classes work... there is the first phase, which is the Power, which on this video ends about halfway through with the jump that has tan-colored houses as wings. If you have a rail down or time faults in the Power phase, you are done. If you're clear, you advance to the Speed phase without stopping. Basically, the Speed phase is a jump-off of sorts - you go as fast as you can without knocking a rail down, and the fastest time wins! The Speed phase is generally composed of 6 or 7 jumps and the Power of 8 or 9, just depends on who's designing the course. Jumps are 3'3" (1 meter) with up to 3'6" (1.10m) spread.
