  • why the f**k they dont play this song more often is beyond me! was this supposed to be on the live in boston dvd from 2002, or is it another boston gig on that tour?

  • the second to last gig of their 2002 tour was the "Live in boston" DVD. this is the 2nd gig of the tour that was released by the encore series. this show is the only time that they didnt play "Bargain" on the 2002 tour, and the only time they played "i can see for miles" since 1989. this show in my opinion is better, even with the exclusion of "Bargain" because they have more energy. the only problem i have is that the quality isnt as good

  • They played it once in 2002. Roger said it was to hard to sing at his age.

  • Most under rated Who song

  • yeah the tune's great, but the duds had ta go

  • good syncing

  • doesn't sound horrible. sounds good for a 50 yr old man. they should just switch off singing verses choruses etc. to save daltrey some air.... and keep playing it live.

  • poor daltrey

  • @amorrisseyprodromou The gig that they played this at was on July 26, 2002 at Great Woods Amphitheater 30 miles south of Boston. I was there, and you really felt the absence of John Entwistle, as great a bass player as Pino Palladino is, It just didn't feel taut & tight. That same day was when the autopsy results on John Entwistle were released, confirming his death due to a cocaine induced heart valve blockage. Tough one to play, under the circumstances!

  • @alanr5682 they never really played it too much back in the Moon era because the vocal harmonies were too hard to pull off on a consistent basis.

  • This is a very difficult song to sing period. It take a lot of breath control. Hunkering around with a musical instrument, draped in English King George outfits, deaf, drunk, it's almost impossible to pull off. You can't force the vocals out, like some Gravel Gertie blues number. I used to sing and play this song on bass in a bar band. I would sweat a bottle of beer during and drink one when it was finally over.

  • I was not at this show Dude !!!!!!!!! but what a great cover of this song..... AWESOME like usual with the WhhhooOoO

  • @m0dsar3us Terrible? Sounds awesome to me
