@the11 The snake is basically a long skinny spring wound tightly together that is very flexible. The possibility of breaking a drain line is low. The most difficulty that I've had is just getting the snake to keep feeding down the line making its 90 degree turns. Be patient, keep pushing and turning at the same time and the snake will feed itself with ease. When the snake hits the clog it will stop turning inside the pipe, pull it out, see what's on it, and snake it again until it's clear.

thanks for posting this.. how careful do you have to be? i mean it is possible to break the drain pipe if you use too much force?? thanks again!
