Cats love Christmas! All the pretty shiny lights, tinsel, and ornaments are just too much for them to resist, believe me I've lost a number of trees over the years to "Christmas Kitties"

No not old, the toilet brushes look brand new! Believe me I know a new toilet brush when I see one! Besides the cat wouldn´t like the used ones :-)

@purplechickon When our cats were still climbers, we just rant a couple of piece of sting or yarn to some small eye hooks or nails in the wall/doorframe. Works great for keeping the tree upright during a cat attack, though the ornaments are still viable victims :-)

Cats don't hate Christmas. It's just that the cat's like "PRETTY" and it's tempting to jump on it.

I wanted to get a Christmas tree for my finally-post-college townhome and sadly my post-college life came with two kittens. My boyfriend's comment (seeing how they treat everything else in my house): "no, you cannot get a Christmas tree, the cats will make it their b!tch."

when this happened to me.. the tree fell over haha
