@canajaneh I assume that you have taken aikido? Can you give me your opinion on the effectiveness of aikido in combat/self defense in comparison to wrestling and to muay tai?

@mcgocken There should always be force.....a time to give force and a time to borrow force...either way force must always be present in any practice as in any real fight. Get in a few real fights and you will learn this. I have been in the martial arts for 34 years and have been in more than my share of fights. Manipulation of force and of course the timing to do so. Cudos to this fellow for practicing, it's a tough world out there.

It's a pleasure to see such a good level at a shodan exam. You're constantly moving and playing with your uke and I absolutely loved the way you switch from pins to throws with ease.
