Just Be

This film was intended as an excercise in unconvential creative process. By listening to a 3 minute piece of music composed for the film, I began connecting the world around me with the music. I filmed some of these things and from there filmed other things and from there yet other things. Eventually emotions and abstract concepts began to associate themselves with my subject matter and when it came time to edit, I had a strong idea of many things that the film meant to me.

My favorite aspect of the film is hearing people's vastly differing, and yet strangely familiar, interpretations of it. Please feel free to let me know what you think and how you feel about it.
