Are You A Leader Or A Follower (Ira Chaleff, 2008 1)

Ira Chaleff kicks off his presentation as part of a series of "Conversations in Transformational Leadership" hosted by the Environmental Protection Agency in 2008. In this short video clip, under two minutes long, Chaleff looks at how we all play both leader and follower roles in our daily lives but how, until recently, only the leadership role has been formally examined. He stresses that "leader" and "follower" are not personality traits but roles we perform, sometimes simultaneously within the same job or activity. This is the first of seven sequential video clips.
