She looks so much better in 96 than she did in 2000 or 2004. At the other two Olympic games, I thought she was too skinny.

should have been a 9.8 and a 9.8 for beam as well..the judging was so terrible

I think the feelings from a lot of people here about Svetlana being an unlikeable person or unpleasant or rude etc are unfair. I have seen her and I know what incidents people are refering to. At the time of her career it was the very serious, straight faced, unemotional girls from Romania (entirely due to Belu's ''style'') against the balletic and soviet trained but Russian competing girls from Russia, Sveta just happened to be the only person who was probably human + emotional, like 99% of us.

I always have mixed feelings about Sveta (love her work, dislike her personality sometimes) but *damn* if she doesn't know how to DANCE and pick some gorgeous, *mature* (not cutesy) floor music! This was beautiful.
