Last Call, an all-male a cappella group at Cornell University, performing the closer from their spring 2009 concert, Straight Up XIV: Last Call Rewind.
From the Arranger: The mash-up starts with 'Carry On,' a 1970 love anthem by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, which ends by declaring 'love is coming to us all.' But now we're wondering where the love is, and where our generation is, with 'Where is the Love' by the Black Eyed Peas, one of the only politically conscious songs of the post 9/11 years. The video doesn't quite capture it, but our last words are 'here is the love, now is the love.' When we perform the song, we and our audience (love you guys!) are creative of that moment, and conscious beyond the radio-play version.
Soloed by Hyeongsu Park '11, Brian Stilwell '09, and Aaron Sprecher '11, percussion by Tyler Herman '09 and Cory Felder '11, arranged by Jeremy Siegman '09.
