Take a look at iDAPT - Toronto Rehab's new, one-of-a-kind rehabilitation research facility in downtown Toronto. There's nothing else in the world like iDAPT, which means "Intelligent Design for Adaptation, Participation and Technology". The facility houses state-of-the-art 'living labs', located at the hospital's University Avenue site, and is a quantum leap forward in rehab research. Researchers around the world can now generate new knowledge, more practical technologies, and innovative treatments more quickly, accurately and in total safety to reduce accidents, illness, and, help people overcome disability.

  • It is gratifying to find a group of academics pursuing these kinds of practical

    objectives, aimed at helping people keep well. The need for such solutions will be needed even more as the baby boomers advance into frailer stages of life.
