@GandhiLover, That's not true. When Kargil war happened, the Pakistani government awared him the highest Pakistani civilian award so many Indians did not like. It is political. Many people wanted him to return the award to Pakistan. Until the late 90s Dilip was considered the Emperor of Bollywood. I still consider him the emperor of Bollywood! But, his last hit movie was in early 1990s so people have moved on. Remember muslims like SRK, Aamir, Salman and Saif Ali are icons in Bollywood.
