Panasonic AG-AC130P AC130 VS HMC150 comparison

Here is some footage of my 2 cameras. HMC 150 AC130 I will let you decide what you like best. Everything is on auto mode.
This was filmed in my basement with not the greatest of lighting. Check my other videos to see what lights I used.

For me, the weight is good. The camera will mostly be on a tripod. But for the autofocus, this issue needs to be looked at by the company. And then let us know, can it be fixed by firmware, or is it in hardware, or this is what it is.

Hi, if you look at one more of my videos, I have no idea why the white balance changed too. No change in camera or lights, and hmc150 did not change.

I did contact Panasonic card door problem, and will have to send it in for a return or refund. It is a slow process, and hopefully will be done soon.

Please remember the tests I am doing, you would not really do on a job. I am just pushing the camera to the limit.

Hi. I only shot this footage, and hope to do more tests when I get this camera repaired or replaced. So for now, I can't give you an answer.

Make sure you play in HD 1080. What camera footage did you like the best?

What can change the white balance is if he's using fluorescent lighting with a low color rendition index. It has a sensor on the front that it uses to measure the "light" temperature.

1. I think the skin tone in the P-130 had a little more realistic flesh tone (pink) than the P-150 (blue). But it's nothing that you can't correct in any NLE color correct program.

2. Yeah I have to concur with the others regarding the slow focus in auto mode.

3. But overall I like the 21x zoom on the 130 & the dual recording option.

My "A" camera will be the P-160 & my "B" will be the P-150.

I tried out the AC160 today and found the same slow autofocus you did. I'm also concerned about the weight of the 160/130. Any new thoughts on the comparison?

@Lampofilm so this only confirms the claims that the auto mode in the new AC's are terrible. Which is something I don't understand. I mean even the LX3 from Pana boast very clever intelligent auto...But why oh why in higher end models like AC130 has such terrible auto? haha...(okay, can't compare video and photo cams, but HMC150 has been plausible as well). Was about to ask you what you think about its manual performance, but...hope you'll get it back soon and we'll see more from you. :)

lovely comparison, thanks! However, i don't quite understand what caused the AC130 to change its white balance on 0:47. And Lampo, I saw another clip of yours which showed that your AC130 had this card door problem, was it solved?
