Finished Interior on my 78 Tahiti Jet Boat. With 2 Engine Covers. One to Show the Clean 460, and one to keep the engine out of sight.

  • Wow your ride looks really nice and practical. I like this clean look much better than muscle boats with headers. Thanks for sharing

  • @atipc Thanks, We really enjoy jetboating. Its nice to be able to take a few friends, without anyone getting burnt by the over transom style headers. It still performs well. for me 2 things are key! Comfort and reliability!

  • Did you happen to fab the seats and do the uphosltery work yourself? Im in the middle of a 71 18SS Sidewinder resto and need to make some seats....

  • @cturboaddict I made the seats and bases (copied the originals) but the guy I had cover the seats didnt make the foam like original, I wanted them a little overstuffed like stock. I did the engine covers, side panels and seat bases myself. I dont have a commercial sewing machine. So doing the seat upholstry I think is better left to the pros.

  • fine just take all the credit if i spend as much time on my boat as i did on yours ill be in good shape

  • If you need some ideas, you know where I live. LOL!!

  • that scoop sets it over the top. good job man. good job.

  • Kool, Save , Build, and Restore old hot rods. Thats what I think. Be them for water or land, Im just parcial to water. LOL!

  • Nice interior. Great Job! Tahiti's rule, I own a 78 18' Tiger that I just put new interior in too. Getting readty to put a BBF 460 bored out, ported, cammed up with a tunnel ram 2 4bbl 600 holleys, barking out of basset headers in her. Keep the old muscle boats alive! I'll post some video when I get her running.
