I've seen some good results from people who have put their cameras inside of a waterproof housing. It eliminates the wind noise, while still allowing you to hear the sounds of the bike (and ONLY the bike). You may want to give that a try.
Plastic threads in the tripod mount died. Cost $110 to fix, so spent $300+ on new Olympus Stylus Tough with "tap technology," which meant it thought it was always getting tapped. Worthless in m/c application.
Then bought new Canon D10 camera.
Unfortunately, not as good as the old Pentax. So, $700+ later, I'll get the W10 fixed! Grrrrrr. I'll work on the mic piece.
