Thanks to everyone who wrote in requesting another example of my 1200 calorie day. Here it is in all its Spartan glory. Full disclosure: There are times when I may throw in an extra glass of wine -- or two -- but only if I was fairly active earlier in the day. Last Call at NM anyone? Mattie Roberts You ROCK!! Very gorgeous too and I like your ideas. My two favs for sure. COFFEE & WINE. I have cut back on wine due to the calories but after watching your videos I can now incorporate them in my diet. Thanks Mattie Roberts!!

have you tried using almond milk in your coffee? I also must have something creamy in my cup each morning and you can get a cup of unsweetened almond milk for only 40 calories and it tastes JUST like regular milk. Its also low in fat, no sugar.. its really been a great discovery for me! Check out Blue Diamond brand in the cereal aisle.

I love the advice Mattie! I found your videos last night, and am on my way to the grocery store right now. I wasnt sure what a balanced day looked like, so im off to try it out! Had my coffee and hard boiled eggs for breakfast already!

Mattie, do you ever use sugar or honey? Which do you think I should use in my coffee? I can't imagine coffee without sweetener, and I don't like the sugar substitutes.

wait, i want to weigh 95. So i eat 950 calories a day? i was told not to go under 1000 O.O i'm 140 now

@NOM145 When your goal weight is that low you really have to experiment. I assume you are under 5'? for really petite divas it becomes a little murky and the rules don't apply the same. Cut back to 1200 cal and see what happens...then go to 1100 etc... Keep up the exercise and throw in some weights a couple of times a week for good measure and to keep your metabolism revved. I doubt you will need to go below 1100 cal to get to your goal weight, though.
