hi! everytime i install newer map why does the device disconnect from my mac? i just bought it last night and i updated it but the device always quits.. please help! thanks....

No, when you update your maps.

do you mean recalculate while on the move if you go off course?
Mine takes a few seconds if that.

How do u cancel a route in it? i have it for 2 months and i can't find it, why is that when i am driving on a straight road and i pull over to get gas and turn 180 degrees it still showing on the screen that i am still in that direction... a lot times i forget it and follow it and it recalculates the route... sucks... why does it take so long to turn on and get sat. signal?? sometimes up to 2 minutes loading... i am taking it back to B.b. and get another one

To cancel a route on the ONE or XL tap on the GPS signal strength bars and then select 'Clear route' from the center button on the bottom. If you don't see this button here, go to the Main Menu and select 'Clear route'.
