Mike Leach named new Washington State football coach

Uncut interview with new Washington State football coach Mike Leach. The former Texas Tech head coach was officially announced at a press conference at WSU on December 6, 2011.

Leach is now in charge of turning around a WSU football team that finished 4-8 in 2011. The Cougars haven't even played in a bowl game since 2003, while Leach led the Red Raiders to ten bowl games in ten seasons. He was fired by Texas Tech under controversy in 2009.

@ClackamasLacrosse43 @weatherman1233 It looks goofy, but that's how you get a focus with professional cameras. You zoom all the way in on the subject, focus the shot (when you're in tight), and then you zoom back out. It's usually done before an interview (or during a question), so the audience never sees it on TV. You can't avoid it when you post a raw interview though. :)

@dallastx4445 Thanks for your feedback on Mike Leach. It's definitely going to be a big change in Pullman. You can see how different it is already at Washington State. The Cougars rolled out cheerleaders, the marching band, and more than 1,300 fans for Leach's press conference. It was more of a party than anything else.
