This is a great example of 10 year old boys learning what happens when they work together as a team. It took four players (catcher, short, 2nd and pitcher) to pull this off.

The catcher gives the signal, The short stop blocks the view of the runner, the 2nd basebase breaks for the bag, and the pitcher throws him out. GREAT job boys!

  • Damn that is a nice field!

  • @rkking0 Maybe textbook for little league but for middle school and up, the umps will call that a balk

  • this play resulted because the shortstop. the coach worked well with the middle infield and communication with the pitcher. good to see this at such a young age.

  • Lpol didn't need to do it kid at the plate swang the bat like he was ten..oh wait

  • No physical contact = no obstruction

  • @harmonic1 thats what i thought too

  • Is obstructing the runners view like this legal?

  • Hey, I do this play for my team. But we play with kids who have seen all these plays and more so it never works. :(

  • Good move! Perfect video for training what to do. Text book.
