Four other Jeffersons actors are dead also. Roxie Roker(Helen Willis) died of breast cancer at age 66 in 1995,Franklin Cover(Helen's husband Tom Willis) died of complications from pneumonia in 2006 and Mike Evans(the original Lionel Jefferson) died of throat cancer the same year. Zara Cully(George's mother Olivia "Mama" Jefferson) died during the Jeffersons run in 1978 at age 86

at first i didn't even notice that this was the jeffersons. what a nice surprise! i also remember a denny's commercial from around this time with those two, but i can't find it on youtube...
