Soy Boys

This was our entry for the 2010 Film Labs short film festival. Didn't make it on the shortlist, but we're still pretty happy with what we've got given the short time and budget ($0.00) we worked with.

Soy Boys is a coming of age tale following two childhood friends who bump into each other again after 8 years apart, only to discover that tough times have called for dreams to be set aside. A chance encounter with a letter reignites a journey of friendship and passion for the culinary arts, as the two boys discover what it means to chase their dreams against the mundane, and very real odds that life sets in their way.

I suppose in a way I see this as our little coming of age tale as well, a step we took in pursuing our passion for film. Thanks to all the people who helped us out along the way in the making of this story, and thanks so much for all the support.
