Nasty politics has been in Hawaii for a long time. It didn't arrive recently. Remember what the Democrats did to Cec Heftel in 1986? Remember the "luna ad" that the Dems ran against Andy Anderson?

Joe Bertram is an idiot but this dirty BS by the GOP is overkill. Up until recently we didn't have this nasty politics in Hawaii. But I guess Rove's hand has extended its reach all the way across the ocean.
I have a message for you nasty, greedy Republican mainlanders who come over here with no respect for our culture or people. GO HOME. We don't want you and your mudslinging nastiness on Maui.

Instead of worrying about "exploiting sex offenders" why don't you worry about the sex offenders exploiting children?
Joe Bertram represents the interests of sex offenders and not the general public. That's why he should be voted out of office.
