Between the kisses and touch Selena was getting lost in the moment she didn't care about the right and wrongs at the moment all she cares is about having Nick like this with her close the heat of their bodies complimenting each other
Her phone started ringing causing her to pull away from their intense, satisfying make-out session "sorry" she heaved as she took her phone out of her pocket both of them looked at the screen and in big bold letters, Joe
She heard Nick let out a huff "you should answer that" he told her as he shifted away from her a little she rubbed her lips together before touching the answer button
"hello" she said "hey are you at home?" he responded "oh no, I'm hanging out with a friend right now" she heard him sigh "oh well I just wanted to see you, I wanted to apologize for yesterday after dinner I was kinda of a jerk" he continued "its fine don't worry about it" she said trying to get the conversation to move along quickly "you're amazing, I'll call you later then" she was about to hang up "babe, I miss you" she looked over at Nick "I miss you too" she replied then finally hanged up
Placing the phone in her pocket again, the atmosphere becoming silent and awkward she began to mentally tell Joe off for his timing "I'm sorry you had to hear that" finally breaking the silence "its okay he is your boyfriend" she felt herself frown "yea. ."
She felt his fingers on her chin as he lifter her face up to meet with his eyes again "why are you with him?" her lips pressing together into a straight line before answering "because my parents want me to be with him, its just so complicated all my life I could never just do what I want there has always been a plan for me and Joe is in those plans"
She turned away from him, noticing her face her eyes becoming gloomy he scooted closer to her "hey don't get sad on me now" he smiled at her "I just wish I could do what I want when I want, kinda like you" grabbing her hand "but you are doing what you want right now being here with me, breaking the rules goody two shoes" finally letting out that laugh of hers "I love it when you laugh" making her blush, he leaned in pecking her lips "lets eat" he said standing up "there's food here?" she asked him confused as he pulled her up to her feet "Nicholas Jonas comes prepared" he replied grinning
They spend the rest of the time getting to know each other more, and she didn't think it was possible but she fell for him even harder, he is sweet, smart, but with that still edgy that makes her weak in the knees for him "can I ask you something?" he nodded as he put his cup down "anything" she smiled "alright why are you so different when you're around your family, well Joe you act like a complete. ." she tried to find the word but just said what she was thinking "jerk with no manners" he laugh "its okay to say ass, Selena" then he shrugged "they see me as a guy that threw away his future I'm irrelevant to their lives, and Joe he just thinks I'm jealous of him, why would I be jealous of him?!, I mean he's my basically my parents robot" she nodded "that's why my parents like him so much he is basically a male version of me, they get to tell him what to do and he'll do it" Nick shook his head "you and him are nothing a like, because you don't like it and he does, so don't compare yourself to him" she kept looking at him "do you think I'm a robot?" once again shaking his head "no, to me your just beautiful Selena"
Once more they're lips connect, but like always time interrupts her phone started ringing again, Nick felt like grabbing it and throwing it across the room "I think its time for me to go" moving her hair to the side "alright"
Walking out to her car "I'll miss you" coming from him it means ten times more, it makes the billions of fluttering butterflies invade her stomach grabbing her face "I'll miss you too"she replied, pressing his soft lips on hers he gave her a kiss goodbye and watched as she got in her car and drove away still feeling like she's surrounded by little stars she got home walking straight to her room hoping her mom wouldn't come in but Esperanza did "Mija. ." She stopped as she looked at her "why are you glowing so much" Selena smiled "no I'm not" squinted her eyes at her "yes you are like a girl in love" then Selena became serious, could she be in love with Nick already?, no she can't be its too soon but then again she doesn't even know how it feels to be in love, all she knows is that Nick makes her heart skip beats and go on overdrive at the same time
