so glen what levels are your nitrates now from last time

i know your corals are looking so much more happy

do tou put nitrate fluid in or just vodka like david saxby

@tashdog1 the levels are still at 5ppm, I use a 50 / 50 mix Vodka and RO water, seems to work fine so not going to worry about using straight vodka!

@a24udi plus mainly because this room no one uses it.

plus mind you my parents wont happy about it my grandad

is letting me do this. but my grandad said tough they cant stop me you.

mind you they dont like the cost of tank. plus mind you my grandad does like

leopard eels and stars stripes puffers powder blue tangs and clown triggers.

this has all changed glen i now can start to use my aquarium

again and no longer need to leave this flat as,

my grand has just said hay bring your tank to

my house and you can use and keep it here all time.

so soon when mates free she will come to my flat and

help me take it to my grandads house, my grandad is

so decent and too good and my parents would never of done this.

so that means then my deltec NFP1020 15,000 litre nitrate reactor filter

will be used again

@a24udi yes as on instructions it does say using 3part ro 1part vodka

as larger units cost prohibitive at times for most people.

but thats just david saxby using vodka on its own

so glen yours is still going then. oh boy i still love them deltec nitrate filters

i still cant get over them. my grandad says this stll you are still very fortunate that you own and have the NFP 1020 15,000 litre size one, i have not used it or my other filters

due to no tank aloud in flat but mind you though theres still many years ahead

looks like your have to have a little bit of light on the reactor to see the bacteria better
