My first ever rental from our local video shop was the Sega Master System version, which remains my favourite of all games.
When I found the Amiga version in a second-hand shop, I bought it and couldn't believe the number of small differences. The worst element of the MS version is the horrible alternating platforms on the last level - mess up a jump and begin the level again. Amiga owners had it so easy.
Don't forget about the Monster World Original Soundtrack! This features the music of WBM

please: note programming error: dragon fornicatus can 1/2 back turn but keeps flaming from right to left!

Did the programmers ever get to the final boss whilst making the game? The final boss is a robot dragon.
