I didn't even make it halfway through before I started bawling. As the girlfriend of a once-deployed Marine, I know how the kid feels. This is heartwarming and I'm glad that his dad made it home safely.

I found this video very touching. I can relate to it as my brother is currently serving in Iraq and has a 6-year old son. I am saddened that such foul language in the comments section could be associated with this video. I do not want to get political here other than to say if we banded together and won this thing it would be over much sooner. The divisiveness is what is dragging it out and feeding the enemy. God bless our troops.

wow...what a beautiful story. my husband and I were both in tears. My hubby is in the navy and hasn't been on deployment but we have a 1 1/2 yr old son and just magining his reaction when his daddy comes home after his deployment...
