@Banderas23mfr All sides shot pilots hanging on parachutes - Germans, Japanese, Americans, Russians, Poles... There is enough evidence on that issue.

@TheDaveyyo Actually this kind of chivalry was very common among German (and Hungarian) WWII pilots, they respected their foes so much that on many occasions they escorted the damaged enemy plane to safety. Also they didn't ever shot on pilots hanging on their parachutes, and many times invited the captured enemy pilot for a dinner, a conversation or to introduce the plane they flow. They had the absolute opposite mentality as their SS comrades-in-arms.
