YouTube Partner Meetup Livestream: Monetization - January 18 2011

YouTube held the very first ever Virtual Partner MeetUp online using the YouTube LiveStream service. The LiveStream was to answer some questions that had been put to YouTube using Twitter and Moderator about Monetization and Ads. The discussion was lead by Senior Product Manager Phil Farhi and Margret from YouTube Partnerships.

Watching the stream where many partners including HappyCabbie, ReallyRick, JeepersMedia, ghero46 and many others.

A lot of subject relating to Partnerships and Monetization where adressed during the broadcast. A lot of questions seemed to be dismissed as one of the most popular questions regarding Click-Bombing was ignored as-well as others.

Hopefully YouTube will host more of these LiveStream sessions and give us a better understanding of you they work behind the scenes.

It was a good first start. Glad they did this but hope next time they make it longer.. much longer. So many questions were asked and so little answers were given.
