ive heard tons of megadeth solos and they all sound the same. it just sounds like dave going all over the place, but i feel like it lacks musicianship. anyone can just go nuts on a guitar. kirks solos have rythym and pattern to em, they seem more organized. besides listen to the damage inc solo and tell me that someone else could do that better.

Marty Friedman played most of the Megadeth's solos and he's more of a better player than Kirk.

But if you're just talking about Dave's solos then they could definitely be comparable to Kirk's.

@Proteus60i usualy dont involve my self with metallica vs megadeth things, but this is so obvious its annoying. kirks vibrato is shit, all he did in the early years was copy dave,hendrix,page. solo pentatonic over and over again. his melodies are pathericly mediocre. i can see why a beginner can think kirk is better becuase of the flash and "speed". ok megadeth had a cheaply produced album KIMB where the sound value isint as good as metallica but did you listin to faces solos in PC,RIP, CTE.EG?

they all sound the same ? bull shit. kirks solos and rythms all sound the same dont be afraid of the truth, dave had singing duties rythm guitar duties he never had a guitar lessons from joe satriani or paul gilbert, and it goes without saying the chris poland,friedman,chris brodrick, are the best musicians metal has seen, now as for dave, kirk copied all of his solos in kill em all his phracing is mediocre, all he does is solo the modes strait up in master and justice. he seems beter for newbs
