'09 Acura RDX Snow Test

This was a completely unplanned and spur of the moment video since it was snowing so much outside.

I've been very pleased with the performance of my RDX so far in this Wisconsin winter... so I figured I'd share its capabilities! It's got Super Handling AWD, and Vehicle Stability Assist, which you'll see in action in this video.

Also, I needed to figure out a good workflow for my new HV20, which currently has a 35mm adapter on order, along with some other great accessories I'll be using to shoot short films with. For those curious, I use HDVSplit to capture the raw m2ts file, process an inverse telecine using TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress outputting to a 1920x1080 M-JPEG AVI file. All of my editing is then done in Premiere Pro in 1080p resolution.

Hmm... well the great majority of RDX owners and professional automotive reviewers disagree with your friend (including myself). I'd imagine SHE sucks at driving to begin with.

It was a good 4-5 inches, unplowed and no sand or salt. I'd say that's a damn good test unless you're planning on climbing mountain trails.

Put some snows on that bish and turn it into a rocket in winter. My RSX wouldnt even MOVE with the stock crap michelins.

Impressive performance. Second angle cam or stationary video cam from the road for reference would make it a pro.

You sold me on an RDX. I'm planning to trade in my 2008 Civic EX w/ navigation for an RDX with technology package in the next few months since I would love to have AWD. And being in Illinois, it will be pretty similar to your drives. Thanks a lot man!

i wonder if the auto manual feature of the auto trans can start from 3rd gear while at a stop....kinda like a winter mode

0:50 would have been nice to try to actually STOP, not roll through the intersection. I would like to see how the ABS engages and no slipping/sliding occurs...
