  • Best band from Memphis that never made it nationwide ! I'll never forget the Sat. night dances at the Davis "Y" in Whitehaven, what great memories. I have the CD that was compled some years ago of their best tunes, super sounds. James Smith, Whitehaven, '64

  • great record.....Tommy Burk and the band still perform after all these years and sound terrific. They play every second Tues. at Yosemite Sams in Overton Square in Memphis, Tenn. They guys are singing great and they still play all the super songs from the 50's-60's and some 70's........it all started in Memphis......!!

  • They do not get any better some 50 yryears later this band was more maiunstream not garage.

Gibsons all round cherry red Les Paul and bass with a sunburst rythymn. The bass player used a felt pick . If you listen to the rythymn guitar it had a felt up lift to give it a mited sound. Paul Anka had his plaer use his hands to acheive the same effect on Diana as did Conway Twitty on Mona Lisa.

Stromy Weather desreves a grammy. Liste to they version. Nina Simone would weep.
