  • @Par5Birdie Most all of those game winning drives were in Mcnabb's first couple years in Philly. He always used his legs on third down to keep alive drives. He can no longer do that, and his lack of accuracy is now being exposed. What does play like himself mean? If a quarterback is that great, he should be able to play in ANY system, shouldn't he? I do agree that Shanahan is overrated, but I find it very interesting that his criticism of Mcnabb are the same ones we had in Philly.

  • @ace8842 McNabb has the second most game wining drives among active QBs. His record speaks for itself. Look at the system he's playing in, Stankahan won't let McNabb play like himself. He's trying to convert him into Johnavan McElway. He's trying to throw away everything he's learned in Philly. Shanahan hasn't had any success since Elway and Davis retired. Without Terrell Davis we wouldn't even know who his is. He's not a good coach. You can't change a successful 11 year starting QB.

  • @Zman1092 and how'd that work out

  • McNabb is soft, really hasn't had that break out or good game yet to begin with. He even played Horrible vs Philly if you look back....It was the defense and running game that won that game....

  • You can see why the Eagles let Mcnabb go. He's inaccurate, he no longer is elusivie like he used to be, and he still is terrible in crunch time at the end of games. If it wasn't for Washington's defense, they would be 2-6. And Mcnabb, as Shannahan pointed out, is terrible at the 2 minute drill. Philly fans would have told everyone that before he left. He's aging fast, and Philly always had a good feel for when to get rid of players.
