Last year, I came across a short story published in a magazine, written by Ed Sarfaty, recounting the first days of his coming out to his beloved Grandma in the 80s when he was a twenty-something. Working with a marvelous cast, led by the respected actress, Kathleen Chalfant, the result is the very first gay-themed piece of work I've ever done and has quickly become one of my favorites. I'm proud to say it's been seen in dozens of important and credible Gay & Lesbian film festivals throughout the world.
