Recording Youtube Audio with Audacity in Windows 7

Windows 7 creates some special requirements for capturing Youtube audio. This tutorial walks the user through the process from start to finish. My apologies for the audio in latter part of the video, but audio capture and my USB microphone proved to be incompatible.

@BlackShogun Do any hidden options appear?  Or is is possible that your sound card already appears? It may be named something else.

device toolbar is clicked not showing up at top or anywhere so we cant capture doodly squat or audio. what to do?

@TheHenryccrider The toolbars can show up in different orders. Make sure it hasn't appeared below other toolbars rather than at the very top.

saddly this did not work for me I was able to do everything till u selected the windows sound capture device in audasity as i did not have that option

Amazing! Helped so much! Just so I know if I want to record my voice on Audacity as well as sound, would I be able to do that? If so how? Will I need to experiment and be constantly changing it from Stereo Mix to Microphone?
