  • @vgasocal "Behind the lap top since 1960", ha ha what are you talking about...

  • eins zwei drei vier...

  • The whole point of Karfwerk is that they are a complete experience in style, music, graphics and design. They epiomise germanic style, highly structured, organised and 'industrial'. They are one of the most important electronic bands in history, you only have to look at the huge variety of bands and musicians who have been influenced by them to see that.

They may not jump around the stage like a bunch of loons, but you can be certain that if they played the main stage of Glatso they would rock.

  • @noizy4 yes but they are behind the lap top since 1960 how boring was then?

  • niceperformance! love fraftwerk!!!!

  • @kingofkeyboards It's still pants...

  • @noizy4 consistently filling out venues across the world. Clearly not everyone finds it 'boring'. On a technical side of things, yeah the setup isn't extravagant but like I said, analog gear isn't good for touring. Jean Michel Jarre used analog gear on one of his tours a few years ago. He had reoccurring problems with tuning, random shutdowns etc. The point is, Kraftwerk need to update their touring rig (which they have) in order to put on a show that's both good (in my opinion) and practical.

  • @kingofkeyboards sorry but some guys behind laptops is boring...

  • @kingofkeyboards sorry the music is not still going strong, the band is only Ralf and a laptop. No new material - I wouldn't say that was "strong".

  • @noizy4 so you'd rather watch them run around scratching their heads and getting annoyed at old equipment that breaks down on tour every two minutes. Analog equipment does not cope well on tour, never has. Plus, the amount of gear these guys used to make their music, imagine getting all that round safely on tour. No thanks. Fair enough the 'heydays' are gone but Kraftwerk and their music is still going strong.
