This is a video of my mostly Lionel train layout. Me, and everyone's friend Murphy were running trains on this particular night. Can you find the things Murphy was doing? lol.

Anyway, if this video get a good response, I may post more videos from the layout. Please be kind about the video taking comments, as this is my first video of my layout.

Any comments which are mean, nasty, or that I just feel do not belong here will be removed. Enjoy the video and feel free to subscribe!

  • Thank you so much for the information. It is very much appreciated. I hope to post a video of my railroad soon.

  • @47mulligan I just subscribed to your channel so I can see it when you do!

  • Very nice. I noticed the Blue Comet. Do you run it much? Your mountain is fantastic. What did you use to make it?

  • @47mulligan Unfortunately, with the way things are right now, I don't run anything much. The Blue Comet is a Locosounds engine, so it usually only gets run for a little while when I run it (just long enough to smoke up the place). (I'm going to make the two responses, due to length)

  • @47mulligan As for the mountain, it is paper mache on window screening. The screening is held up by scrap wood and tunnel portals I cut out of wood, and held together with hot glue. Then I glued on the K-Line Tunnel portals. It's a cheap way to make a tunnel. Excluding the K-Line tunnel portals, I think it cost me $20 to make to the point seen here. After this video was taken, I added trees, by scraping some of the snow off the miniature christmas trees and spraypainting them a brighter green

  • I love running trains in conventional mode...glad to see that I'm not alone in the world. It seems that so many people are into th hi-tech command control now a days. Not knocking it, just don't need it! Great layout.

  • @stationmaster12 We aren't alone, not by a long shot. There are many of us who would rather run trains conventionally than by remote control, but many of them seem to be content with what they have, and don't show it off. The people with the new technology want to show it off, so you see more of that.
