I hadnt heard this song in its entirety before that night and i kept expecting it to end
but hot dam nthis is the best show i ever went to and thats including the who and the chili peppers

I went to both nights of this...I actually can see the top of my head in this video, hehe. I am super disappointed they aren't playing any other cities, especially since I really wanted to get a video of that pink floyd song...I hope they perform that again at some point, it was amazing!

@freegadflyathome thanks! my camera used to take amazing video. its been dropped so many times now so the focus isnt as good. hopefully getting a new one for xmas and then seeing the Decemberists in Chi in Feb. so check back for more vids of them!

yeah! i can't believe we were so lucky! i feel bad for those who don't get the chance to see them, but if the sickness is that serious then they should definitely take time to get better rather than risk getting worse.

I KNOW! they're amazing. i see them every time they come to Chicago. did you go to both nights? i did.
i really wish i had recorded the 2nd to last song in the encore of night 1... that cover song. does anyone know what song that was? Colin mentioned something about Pink Floyd but i was unfamiliar with the song... i thought it was an excellent psychadelic-esque performance.
