@DiamondPrincessCayla Effie (JHudson) did not get a part becuse she wasnt in the group any more for 8 years before that. She gets her part on the finnaly thats why she dosn't have the part she wasnt in the group

hard to say goodbye to Whitney Houston Michael Jackson Don Cornelius Etta James Amy Winehouse still Luther Vandross is on my mind years after his death. sylvia who did the song pillow talk died in september 2011. oh and Tenia Marie. so much amazing talent but MJ will always be #1 R.I.P. all Love, Peace and Soul!

@100BrownChickens i agree, shes actually a better singer than jennifer hudson, she wasn't even full out singing in this movie because of the character, but compare what she does here to cadilac records, shes a connoisseur of the voice! amazing lady!
