This video is one of nine in a series of slideshows produced by youth in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan as part of a project called "The Land I Love." This piece is on the mouth of the Big Two Hearted River in Luce County. The goal of the project is to capture the perspective of young people on the natural, cultural and historical places in the U.P. they feel are unique, distinctive and special to them. The project encourages youth ownership of the land while building leadership and media skills. The photographs and text of the shows were produced by the youth.
