@Diablosdark Not in the same world, same "universe" that has a common mythos on crystals and gods or something. Definitely not the same world.

Only comman thing they have is the same world. From what ive understand the Story is completely own in each and olso it looks like Versus is based on more of an "present time" as FFXIII looks to be more of an "Future" Square really likes to confuse its fans doesent it? :D
