Yes, the truth is out there. You have photographed normal contrails.

Contrails can spread and last for hours. They throw shadows on layers of haze below them so forming dark lines of shadow in front of them.

They are often different lengths and persistence because planes by law fly at different altitudes in different conditions due to flight separation rules.

How can you be so ignorant not to know these things?

Those b******s at the government destroyed my business. Rain every weekend and most holidays destroyed my country pub. Add the rain to the smoking ban and you have a dead pub. Whatever they are using to create the rain must come down with the rain. We need to know the truth and now.
