If it's not renewable, then you're dependent on it. What else would be the answer? Your argument makes no sense.
-
You had me cracking up silly!! I was going to make a video just like this. Whenever I do, I'll make it as a video response to this. Cabasse, you hit the nail on the head!! Windpowerrocks, you seriously had me rolling on the floor! I was cracking up soooo bad!!!!!! Especially when the guy fell down at the end OMG You NEED to keep this up!

unlike those other nutty videos, we have the sound of your voice to compare with the background noise... if you cranked the volume up high enough to hear the blade turbulence, your voice would probably blow my speakers.
people are selfish, and don't care if their desires are detrimental to improvement in the world.
-
Noise - you don't know the half of it!!! Check out this Nuke power plant carrying out its regular siren testing, see NHEQaXqaIv4, it does this regularly!!! And anyway, why does it need a siren, is it to warn everyone to run for their lives when it all starts to go wrong!! Give me wind power any day!!
Keep up the good work Windpowerrocks! ;-))))
A few colleagues of mine have recently supported a huge new turbine to power Glyndebourne Opera House, East Sussex. So far so good the locals have supported us. But as far as your Nuclear argument goes, we have to have both. Wind alone simply cannot meet demand of this heavy industrial nation. This is the price we're going to have to pay to meet C02 targets.

Hi Peanuts,
I agree that wind can't do it all and that we need an energy mix. Let's say, for example, that we did go for 'some' nuclear as you suggest. There is only just about enough uranium for one more generation of nuclear power stations. We'd still have to come back to renewables afterwards.
You might be interested to know that tidal turbines are not far away. There's one called SeaGen that's being trialed at the mo.
I'm no fan of nuclear: it's dirty, dangerous and expensive.

Brilliant piece of satire. And as for the Daily Mail reference, you hit it on the nose. Bunch of bigots

Cheers Peanuts,
do pass the link to this vid around your friends. I want all to know what a bunch of self-interested, climate change denying freaks wind nimbys are :)
