Here are representations of ancient Persians, that appear to be in-line with the accounts of Herodotus, the fields of Population genetics, Archeology, and Linguistics. There is overwhelming evidence, that Iranian peoples are of the earliest stock of Caucasoids (along with populations which spanned between Turkey, the Caucus mountain range, and Western Afghanistan). A discussion of Haplotype R1*, would go would well beyond the scope of any single video, but it should be known that it is the immediate ancestor to derivative groups, which are generously distributed throughout the European continent. And Iranians show the highest levels of R1*, anywhere in the world. Furthermore, the presence of other ultra rare forms of R in Iran, lend weight towards a theory of Caucasoid evolution, on the Iranian plateau.
*Note, that every individual represented is a Persian, except the man riding high on a horse, at the very beginning of the video. That is Alexander the Great. The gentleman sitting down at the very end, is King Darius.
