My Vespa scooter set up with a wide range receive, dual band 50W 2m - 70cm Yaesu FTM-10R.

The FTM-10R is installed in the glove box with a DC line noise filter. It does indeed fit like a glove.

The FTM-10R control head can be mounted or extended for use as PTT mic (Bluetooth headset may also be used). Also nice for listening to FM broadcast stations. Speakers in main chassis and in control head deliver very nice audio.

A base and center loaded 29" dual band 146/446 Maldol EX-107RB antenna mounted on the "crash bar." 146MHz 2.6dBi 1/2 wave and 446MHz 4.9dBi 5/8 wave x 2.

In addition to the FTM-10R, I bring along a Yaesu FT-817nd, mini Buddy Pole, and 25W foldable solar array (all in the rear carrier) for QRP on 160-10 meters HF, 6 meters, 2 meters, and 70cm.
