AMD vs. INTEL

Sorry, but this video was a complete waste of time. First of all, you did no tests to compare them. All you did was go to NewEgg and compare stats. You probably don't know much about cores and how computers work since your comparing core to core. Most PC games and applications run on 1 core, and maybe sometimes 2 cores. My Intel 2500K CPU will out perform any 6-core AMD processor (I own a 2500K i5 and a 1100T black edition AMD and the Intel outperforms in almost every way.)

@taringa501 ps we both make 13 bucks an hour expence is an issue for both
-
@taringa501 my freind is doing the best amd he can vs the best intel i can we will se who does better i already know one thing we are both doing dual 560s

@IAPOD per core not pure core sorry
-
@MaxC0mpTips yes amd does have a 8 core cpu but only runing half gh pure core even overclocked its only capable of 6.4 or somthing you would need extreme cooling for that liquid nitrogen was used to get it up to 8 ghz so in order to get 1 ghz per core you need liquid nitrogen cooling. i was looking at the amd fx 8150 i think thats it, but its the best 8 core but not the best cpu now im getting the 17 2700k 95w power and 3.5 ghz 3.9 turbo and whatever i cand reach with overclock

@MaxC0mpTips thing is the amd 8 core was a huge setback for AMD as AMD spokesperson Mike declared that AMD will no longer have the INTEL vs AMD mindset. You are VERY ignorant on TCP power consumption as most sandybridges are 95WATT as opposed to phenoms and bulldozers. more over the 8 cores(really 4 sharing pipes) are lacking in everyway of the intel i5 (2500K).
you did get one part right though, amd is best price/performance ratio.
Second of all, your little statistics charts are based on old hardware. Intel used to consume more power than AMD chips about 5 years ago, but since the iSeries has been released, Intel consumes less power at idle and max loads. Generally, you get what you pay for. You keep boasting "AMD is more bang for your buck and its better and cheaper", but it's seriously not. Build your AMD machine and then post your benchmarks.

@thewolfman2010 this is based more for gamers. AMD will provide way better performance in games then intel will ever. And if you actually watched the video and didn't go straight to comments at 2:29 i compare the core i7. so yea get your facts straight.

Intel can handle everything whether gaming or work, but costs more than AMD.
Intel is Better than AMD,everything else doesn't matter.

@iHown how can you say everything else doesnt matter?! and the intel i3 cant handle games neither can a lot of intel chips. Intel doesnt even have an 8 core cpu. AMd does. and amd you get more bang for the buck. Amd can handle gaming, work, as well.

@MaxC0mpTips If you're into gaming, then AMD is faster. But for most grown up who no longer doing much gaming, Intel i7 is much faster than the 8 core AMD in image/video processing, engineering analysis & simulations...etc. The slight edge displayed by AMD in gaming is of too little value compared to the image/video processing & engineering analysis speed of the Intel. In that sense, I agree that Intel is better than AMD when looking at the bigger picture (not just gaming).

@kopial true, AMD is meant more for gamers, intel is better for 3d simulations, or engineering classes. I know a college that has an entire room filled with computers for those purposes and they have 2 i7's in each pc. its insane.
