Although I also shot regular video this was a set of stills of Kira Mayo performing in the KC Fringe. Her tap dance routine was labeled "Tap, Then and Now." She talks about the history of tap and performs, also asks audience members up to dance.
When I shoot dance I never, ever use the motor drive ("C" settings). This is one of a demonstration set showing where/when to shoot dancers. I emphasize selected moments based on subject knowledge - as in, you need to dance to know what and when to shoot as well as what to select. I put them all together in Vegas Pro and created the background music using Sony's Cinescore. Then rendered it in 720-30p wmv.
